ExponentialWeb was started in September 2009 by two Carnegie Mellon University graduate students studying Information Systems Management. They were bonded by their interest in how the Internet and especially the social web can change the world at an exponential rate.

Manolis Kounelakis

Manolis Kounelakis is a Carnegie Mellon University alum with a Masters in Information Systems Management (Class of Dec. 2009). Over the last several years, he has been involved in the development and management of several online projects including the twitter application TheUnfollowApp and the social mapping mashup glancemap.com. He has also served as Social Media Marketing Director for Eyeflow, an Online Marketing firm based in Pittsburgh. Manolis is now looking for employment opportunities. Any suggestions out there? Haris Krijestorac

After doing his undergraduate degree at CMU in Information Systems, he matriculated into the school’s masters program to shift his focus towards the management of IS. As young entrepreneur, he has been involved in several global Internet-based projects. For over two years, he has been the Communications Director for ProdamSam.com, based in his second home of Slovenia. Read more in his resume.

Together, Manolis and Haris are the editors and promoters of the first student-edited issue of the Student Connection e-Newsletter, sponsored by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
